As a service we can cape your trophy free of charge.  If you prefer to cape your own trophy, here are some tips that may help.

First cut: Cut the hide around the deer 6" behind the front shoulder.

Second cut: Cut around the front legs above the knee joint

Third cut: Cut down the back of the front legs and join cuts 1 & 2.

Fourth cut: Peel the skin forward 2/3 up the neck and saw the head free.

We can handle the rest!  If you don't bring your game directly to us, freeze the head & cape to avoid spoilage.  Don't  take chances with your trophy.  Call if you need help.

Notes: Don't cut too far forward when field dressing!

Bring your trophy in with your tag attached. It's a law.
